2026 Full SSI Payment Schedule

Because of how holidays and weekends fall this year, SSI recipients see this “shifted payment” pattern happen more than once. Here’s the full 2026 breakdown:

Payment For Date Issued Note
February Jan. 30, 2026 Feb. 1 is a Sunday
March Feb. 27, 2026 March 1 is a Sunday — no March payment
April–July 1st of each month Standard schedule
August July 31, 2026 Aug. 1 is a Saturday — no August payment
September Sept. 1, 2026 Standard schedule
November Oct. 30, 2026 Nov. 1 is a Sunday — no November payment
January 2027 Dec. 31, 2026 Jan. 1, 2027 is a federal holiday

So in 2026, SSI recipients will notice three separate “skipped” months: March, August, and November. Each time, the payment simply arrived a day or two early the month before.

Note: This schedule applies to SSI (Supplemental Security Income) specifically. Regular Social Security retirement and disability benefits follow a different, staggered schedule based on your birth date, and are unaffected by this issue.

  1. Both my husband are ill. He has damaged left leg. He seen doctors, and went to hosspital. He had some different come our home. But this Friday he go see doctor again not only left leg, but also his shoulders,, he had injured.
    As for me I got Type 2 Diabetes. and have gone to San Antonio Kidney for lads, and scheduled to go back October 6 & Oct. 13. I was told I have Stage 3A Chronic Kidney Disease by Prime Doctor Rebecca Ann Quiroz, MD on 7/13/2026.
