Heads Up, SSI Recipients: November’s Payment Date Has Changed

October 26, 2026 · By Retirees in USA Editorial Team · RETIREMENT INCOME
Three-card schedule chart listing payment dates for SSI Recipients, Dual SSI & Social Security, and Pre-May 1997 Claimants.
Dual recipients collect separate disbursements across two schedules, receiving SSI on October 30 and Social Security on November 3.

Social Security and SSI Schedule for November 2026

Millions of Americans receive both Supplemental Security Income and traditional Social Security benefits. These dual recipients follow two distinct payment schedules during the month.

If you receive both benefits, your SSI check arrives on Friday, October 30. Your regular Social Security retirement or disability check arrives on Tuesday, November 3.

Beneficiaries who claimed Social Security benefits before May 1997 also receive payments on Tuesday, November 3. All other retirees receive disbursements according to their birth dates.

Retirees with birthdays between the 1st and 10th receive payments on Wednesday, November 11. Although November 11 is Veterans Day, the official federal calendar designates that Wednesday for processing.

Some private financial institutions may still post those direct deposits on Tuesday, November 10. You should check your specific bank’s holiday deposit policies to know when funds clear.

Beneficiaries born between the 11th and 20th receive their funds on Wednesday, November 18. Those born between the 21st and 31st receive checks on Wednesday, November 25.

Knowing these exact deposit dates helps dual-eligible households coordinate bill payments throughout the month. Reviewing the official payment schedule published by the Social Security Administration provides additional clarity.
